Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front desk operations including check-in/check-out processes
- Train and supervise front desk staff to maintain exceptional service standards
- Resolve complex guest complaints with empathy and efficiency
- Manage reservation systems and optimize room allocation
- Collaborate with housekeeping, concierge, and maintenance departments
- Implement upselling strategies for premium room packages and amenities
- Maintain accurate financial records and daily reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hotel front desk management experience
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Advanced proficiency in hotel management software (Opera, PMS)
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Valid Indiana hospitality certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis tourism attractions
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in English; bilingual skills a plus
