Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front-of-house, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Financial Management: Monitor daily P&L statements, manage budgets, control labor costs, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Guest Experience: Proactively address guest inquiries and complaints, ensuring 100% guest satisfaction and maintaining the hotel's reputation for excellence.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor staff members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth and teamwork.
- Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop local and regional promotional strategies to fill rooms and boost revenue.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a General Manager or Assistant General Manager role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading large, diverse teams and driving high-performance results.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and vendors.
- Software Proficiency: Must be proficient with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
