Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless execution.
- Financial Leadership: Develop and manage the annual budget, monitor P&L statements, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse staff, fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and accountability.
- Guest Experience: Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction by personally addressing inquiries and resolving complex issues with professionalism.
- Marketing & Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to drive occupancy rates and promote the hotel’s brand within the Columbus market.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce all health, safety, and local regulations to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams through change and maintain high morale during peak seasons.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of hotel management software (PMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Columbus, OH market and tourism landscape.
