Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance to ensure seamless execution.
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to drive revenue, increase occupancy rates, and maximize profitability (P&L management).
- Ensure the highest standards of guest satisfaction and service quality by personally reviewing guest feedback and resolving complex issues.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse staff of 50+ employees, conducting regular training and performance evaluations.
- Manage budgets, forecast financial outcomes, and control expenses while maintaining quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, community leaders, and corporate partners.
- Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with a proven track record in a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including front office systems, budgeting, and human resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a large team.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the hospitality industry.
- Valid California Real Estate or Gaming License (if applicable to the specific property type).
- Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Opera, Micros) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
