Responsibilities
- Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean guest rooms and bathrooms, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and sanitized.
- Bed Making: Strip and make beds according to Grand Hyatt standards, ensuring linens are crisp and tucked.
- Restocking: Replenish amenities such as soap, shampoo, and coffee to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Deep Cleaning: Perform regular deep cleaning of carpets, windows, and furniture to maintain the hotel's luxury appeal.
- Waste Management: Empty trash bins and replace liners throughout guest rooms and corridors.
- Reporting: Report any maintenance issues, missing items, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Standards Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety protocols, health regulations, and brand standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
