Responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve revenue targets
- Manage department heads and foster a culture of excellence among 50+ staff
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and local regulations
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues with discretion
- Analyze financial performance and adjust operations accordingly
- Coordinate with sales team to maximize occupancy and revenue
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- 5+ years progressive hotel management experience
- Proven track record in P&L management and revenue optimization
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, etc.)
- Texas Hotel Manager certification preferred
- Knowledge of Houston market and tourism trends
