Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, and guest services
- Develop and implement strategic plans to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues with professionalism
- Monitor financial performance and control operational costs
- Collaborate with sales team to drive business development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- 5+ years hotel management experience in luxury or upscale properties
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Proficiency in hotel management systems (Opera, etc.)
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Knowledge of San Jose tourism market preferred
- Valid California Food Handler's certification
