Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security are maintained at all times.
- Guest Relations: Cultivate a welcoming environment for guests by resolving complaints efficiently and exceeding service expectations.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor hotel financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses to maximize profitability.
- Marketing & Sales: Collaborate with the sales team to promote hotel packages and events to local and regional markets.
- Inventory Control: Manage supplies and amenities to prevent stockouts and reduce waste.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the hotel adheres to all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in hotel management or a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or Business is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, Micros, or StayNTouch.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse guests and staff.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
