Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring smooth functioning of front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance departments.
- Guest Experience: Ensure all guests receive top-tier service by personally interacting with VIPs and resolving any complex issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor hotel staff, fostering a positive, high-energy work environment that encourages professional growth.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the hotel budget, monitor expenses, and maximize revenue through strategic pricing and marketing initiatives.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and federal laws, as well as company policies regarding safety, health, and sanitation standards.
- Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop promotional strategies that enhance occupancy rates and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in hospitality management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and influence others.
- Leadership: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera, Maestro, or similar software.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
