Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage services.
- Manage and mentor a large team of staff, ensuring high standards of service and conduct.
- Develop and implement operational budgets and strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Handle guest complaints and complex issues with diplomacy and efficiency to maintain high satisfaction scores.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for renovations and maintenance.
- Monitor market trends to suggest improvements to services and amenities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in hotel operations or hospitality management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing teams and budgets.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) and PMS systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Certification in Hospitality Management (e.g., CHA, AHLEI) is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
