Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and check them in/out efficiently using our property management system.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries regarding reservations, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle cash transactions, credit card processing, and create accurate daily reports.
- Resolve guest complaints or issues with empathy and professionalism to ensure a positive experience.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms and public areas are pristine.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining lobby cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality or customer service certificate is a plus.
- Previous experience in a front desk or reception role is preferred but not required.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with POS or reservation software (e.g., Opera, OpenTable).
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
