Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service during check-in/check-out processes using PMS systems
- Manage room assignments, reservations, and VIP requests with meticulous attention
- Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate financial records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly with discretion and professionalism
- Uphold brand standards through consistent communication and problem-solving
- Assist with valet services and concierge requests as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year front desk or hospitality experience required
- Proficiency in Opera, Cloudbeds, or similar hotel management systems
- Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English
- Ability to multitask efficiently during high-traffic periods
- Strong knowledge of Chicago attractions and transportation networks
- Flexible availability for weekends, holidays, and evening shifts
- Valid driver's license preferred for valet duties
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification a plus
