About the Role:
The Hotel Shift Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel. You will be the bridge between the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance teams, ensuring that our high standards of service are met at all times.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily front-of-house operations, including the front desk, lobby, and guest services areas.
- Manage staff schedules, assign duties, and conduct daily briefings to ensure alignment with hotel goals.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with empathy and professionalism to ensure high satisfaction ratings.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy rates, check-in/check-out times, and service quality.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, security measures, and emergency procedures.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and public spaces are pristine.
- Act as the primary point of contact for hotel management during your shift.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality management, hotel operations, or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in hotel management software and reservation systems.
- A valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record are preferred.
