Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily front desk and housekeeping operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests immediately to ensure high satisfaction scores.
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and mentor front-line staff, including front desk agents and housekeeping attendants.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage hotel supplies and amenities to minimize waste and control costs.
- Shift Leadership: Lead evening and weekend shifts, ensuring security protocols and safety standards are met.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit daily operational reports to the General Manager.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or a related hospitality role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead a team effectively and handle conflict resolution professionally.
- Flexibility: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is preferred.
