Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring all departments adhere to hotel standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor front desk and housekeeping staff to ensure peak performance and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of linens, amenities, and supplies to minimize waste.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with empathy and efficiency to resolve issues immediately.
- Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Conduct shift briefings to communicate goals, updates, and address staff concerns.
- Assist in recruiting new talent and conducting performance evaluations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel operations, hospitality management, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Micros) is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality is a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
