Responsibilities
- Perform Daily Cleaning: Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas to exacting cleanliness standards.
- Restock Amenities: Ensure all rooms are fully stocked with linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
- Maintenance Checks: Inspect rooms for maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks) and report them to the maintenance team immediately.
- Laundry Management: Sort, wash, and fold linens and towels according to protocols.
- Sanitization: Utilize proper cleaning chemicals and equipment to sanitize surfaces and prevent the spread of germs.
- Organization: Organize closets and storage areas efficiently to ensure a clutter-free environment.
- Guest Service: Interact professionally with guests and respond to specific requests regarding room cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Physical Ability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills to work effectively with the housekeeping team.
- Availability: Must be willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
