Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to meet our exacting cleanliness standards.
- Amenity Management: Restock rooms with fresh linens, toiletries, and amenities to ensure a luxurious guest experience.
- Maintenance Reporting: Inspect rooms for any maintenance issues or damages and promptly report them to the engineering or management team.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations (OSHA, CDC guidelines).
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies to minimize waste and ensure efficiency.
- Guest Relations: Interact professionally with guests and maintain a positive, welcoming attitude throughout your shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping, custodial, or hospitality experience is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Reliability: Consistent work history and punctuality are essential.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for spotting dirt and a commitment to perfection.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the hotel location in San Diego.
