Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to strict hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish toiletries and amenities.
- Empty trash cans and replace liners throughout the hotel corridors.
- Dust furniture, polish surfaces, and vacuum carpets to ensure a spotless appearance.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues (leaks, broken fixtures) and report them to the engineering department.
- Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping cart and storage areas.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (OSHA, CDC).
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel housekeeping staff is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Basic English proficiency and strong communication skills.
