Responsibilities
- Supervise and inspect daily housekeeping operations to ensure high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
- Train, coach, and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Manage shift schedules, assign tasks, and handle timekeeping and payroll for the cleaning crew.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and storage rooms to identify maintenance needs.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to ensure a seamless stay experience.
- Maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages or equipment failures to management.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality management.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
