Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas according to established health and safety standards.
- Make beds, dust, vacuum, and polish furniture to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Restock amenities such as soap, shampoo, and towels in guest rooms.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly to maintain hygiene.
- Report maintenance issues, such as leaks or broken fixtures, to the engineering department immediately.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is stored safely and maintained in good working order.
- Adhere to company uniform policies and grooming standards at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to stand, walk, and exert physical effort for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Physical stamina to lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
