Responsibilities
- Cleaning & Sanitization: Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Bed Making: Strip beds, change linens, and make beds according to strict hotel standards and brand guidelines.
- Restocking: Restock amenities (soap, shampoo, toilet paper) and replenish supplies in guest rooms and housekeeping carts.
- Deep Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks, including cleaning mirrors, windows, and dusting baseboards and furniture.
- Laundry: Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and towels efficiently.
- Guest Support: Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the management team immediately.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and report low stock levels.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Basic English communication skills to interact with guests and staff effectively.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check.
