Responsibilities
- Room Preparation: Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to meet our exacting cleanliness standards.
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly and respond promptly to requests or inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Amenity Management: Restock guest rooms with toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure a fully equipped and welcoming environment.
- Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or broken furniture to the engineering or maintenance department immediately.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and linen usage to minimize waste and control costs.
- Shift Adherence: Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and maintain a consistent work schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Security Awareness: Follow all hotel security protocols and ensure doors are locked and windows secured during room cleaning.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
- Availability: Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on cleanliness and the ability to spot even the smallest details to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
