Join our award-winning luxury hotel in Baltimore's vibrant Inner Harbor! We're seeking a visionary Hotel General Manager to lead our 250-room property and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This senior role oversees all operations, drives revenue growth, and maintains our AAA Four-Diamond standards. You'll manage a team of 100+ staff, implement innovative hospitality strategies, and collaborate with corporate leadership to elevate our brand presence in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and engineering departments
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and KPIs
- Lead staff recruitment, training, and performance management programs
- Manage P&L, budgeting, and cost control initiatives
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, health regulations, and safety protocols
- Drive guest satisfaction through service excellence and complaint resolution
- Collaborate with sales team to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Implement sustainability and eco-friendly practices across all departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field required
- Minimum 7+ years progressive hotel management experience
- Proven track record in luxury/premium segment properties
- Strong financial acumen with P&L management expertise
- Exceptional leadership and team development skills
- Knowledge of Baltimore tourism market and regional competition
- Proficiency in Opera, Marriott, or similar hotel management systems
- ServSafe certification and valid Maryland Food Manager license
