Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring all rooms and public areas meet our quality standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to improve performance and guest satisfaction scores.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to identify and rectify any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as needed to prevent stockouts.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues regarding room quality or housekeeping services immediately.
- Prepare daily shift schedules and ensure coverage for all shifts, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or hospitality management.
- Previous supervisory experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
