We are looking for a leader who can ensure our standards of cleanliness are consistently met while maintaining a positive, energetic atmosphere for both staff and guests.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and inspect housekeeping staff to ensure all guest rooms, suites, and public areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Assign daily cleaning tasks and schedules to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient workflow and timely turnover of rooms.
- Maintain accurate inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; order stock as needed to prevent shortages.
- Handle and resolve guest complaints or special requests regarding cleanliness and amenities promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them to management.
- Train new hires on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and our brand’s service standards.
- Ensure compliance with all local health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping, houseman, or hotel management roles.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
