Responsibilities
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations for 50+ guest rooms and public areas
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on service standards and safety protocols
- Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with brand standards
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens through inventory control systems
- Coordinate deep cleaning projects and special event preparations
- Resolve guest requests and maintenance issues promptly
- Prepare daily staffing schedules and assign work assignments
- Submit payroll and performance documentation weekly
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years housekeeping experience in luxury/hotel environment
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
- Certification in bloodborne pathogens and OSHA safety protocols preferred
