Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations and guest check-ins/check-outs during the overnight shift.
- Perform nightly financial reconciliations, including credit card settlements and cash balancing.
- Generate and review night audit reports for management review.
- Ensure strict adherence to hotel security and safety protocols.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and empathy.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to address room issues during quiet hours.
- Maintain the appearance of the lobby and public areas to the highest standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; hospitality degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel front desk operations or night audit.
- Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or Micros.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
