Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day reconciliations including cash handling, credit card processing, and deposit preparation
- Manage guest check-ins/check-outs during overnight hours with exceptional service
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and guest concerns promptly
- Monitor security systems and access logs for overnight premises safety
- Prepare daily reports for management including occupancy statistics and revenue data
- Coordinate with housekeeping and security teams for overnight operations
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and discretion
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or night audit experience required
- Proficient in hotel management systems (Opera, Fidelio, etc.)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to financial detail
- Exceptional customer service skills with conflict resolution ability
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- Basic knowledge of Oakland area attractions and services
