Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins/check-outs and resolve billing discrepancies with precision
- Oversee night staff operations and coordinate with security teams
- Process daily financial reports and reconcile accounts nightly
- Respond to guest inquiries and emergencies with exceptional service
- Perform daily audits of front desk transactions and cash handling
- Monitor hotel systems and troubleshoot technical issues
- Prepare detailed shift reports for management review
Qualifications
- 2+ years hotel front desk or night audit experience
- Proficiency in Opera or PMS hotel management systems
- Strong financial reconciliation and attention to detail skills
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexible schedule availability (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Valid Illinois hospitality license preferred
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of Chicago tourism attractions
