As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the night shift. You will be responsible for managing front desk operations, conducting night audits, and ensuring the safety and security of our guests and property. Responsibilities
- Manage all front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments, during the night shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Conduct nightly audits, including posting charges, balancing house accounts, and preparing daily financial reports.
- Monitor hotel security systems and ensure the safety of guests and property throughout the night.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring a memorable stay experience.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure a seamless handover of operations and guest information.
- Maintain accurate records of lost and found items and nightly activity logs.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in hospitality or business is a plus.
- Previous experience in hotel front desk operations or night auditing is highly preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during night shifts.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
