Responsibilities
- Perform end-of-day financial reconciliation including processing payments, managing cash drawers, and generating daily reports
- Greet and assist late-night guests with check-ins, special requests, and emergency support
- Monitor property security systems and respond to overnight incidents per protocol
- Manage room status updates and coordinate with housekeeping for next-day preparations
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in-person with professionalism and discretion
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and guest communications
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless transition of operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred
- 1+ years hotel front desk or night audit experience
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera, etc.)
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Strong attention to detail with numerical aptitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (if required for errands)
