Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins and check-outs.
- Perform nightly audits, reconciling room rates, folios, and cash transactions with precision.
- Monitor hotel security systems and premises to ensure guest and staff safety.
- Assist guests with inquiries, complaints, and special requests, ensuring a memorable stay.
- Process wake-up calls, messages, and mail efficiently.
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with the engineering department.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in the front office area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, front desk, or hotel operations preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency, including PMS systems (e.g., Opera, Micros).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain alert during night hours.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus.
