Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of guest accounts, cash handling, and credit card transactions
- Manage check-ins/check-outs for late arrivals and early departures
- Oversee security protocols and respond to emergency situations
- Prepare management reports and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist guests with requests using personalized service standards
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams during overnight shifts
- Handle billing discrepancies and resolve payment issues
Qualifications
- 2+ years hotel front desk or night audit experience required
- Proficiency in Opera/PMS property management systems
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid North Carolina driver's license (for property runs)
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts
- Basic knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures
