Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins/check-outs efficiently using Opera PMS system
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency protocols
- Process payments, manage cash floats, and reconcile nightly reports
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for guest needs
- Prepare arrival packages and ensure VIP accommodations
- Maintain accurate guest records and reservation data
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Strong knowledge of Boston attractions and transportation
- Proficiency in property management systems (Opera preferred)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Valid Massachusetts hospitality certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
