Responsibilities
- Greet and Register Guests: Welcome arriving guests warmly, verify identification, and process check-ins and check-outs efficiently using hotel property management software.
- Night Audit Duties: Perform nightly financial reconciliations, post charges, balance accounts, and ensure all financial records are accurate and secure.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally to ensure a positive guest experience throughout the night.
- Security Management: Monitor security cameras, conduct regular rounds of the property, and ensure the safety and security of guests and hotel assets.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with the front office team, housekeeping, and engineering to coordinate guest needs and hotel operations.
- Reservation Support: Assist with managing the reservation system, updating guest profiles, and handling special requests.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Skills: Strong computer proficiency, specifically with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera or similar software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and attention to detail in financial tasks.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
