Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes using hotel management systems
- Respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and local expertise
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments for seamless operations
- Process payments, resolve billing discrepancies, and manage cash handling
- Uphroom safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Personalize guest experiences through proactive service and local recommendations
- Maintain accurate reservation records and occupancy reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel front desk or customer service experience
- Proficiency with PMS systems (Opera, FOSSE preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Valid Maryland hospitality or food handler certification
- Weekend availability (Friday-Sunday) required
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Basic knowledge of Baltimore attractions and transportation
