As a Night Shift Agent, you will oversee the seamless operation of the front desk, manage key duties, and provide exceptional service to our patrons. We offer a competitive hourly wage, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work culture that values your contribution.
Responsibilities
- Guest Check-In/Out: Verify guest identities, process payments, and issue room keys or access cards efficiently and accurately.
- Security Management: Monitor surveillance cameras, conduct routine patrols of the premises, and enforce safety protocols to ensure the security of guests and property.
- Communication Hub: Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, responding to inquiries and relaying messages to appropriate departments (e.g., maintenance, housekeeping).
- Reservation Management: Assist with front desk operations by managing overbookings, updating guest information in the Property Management System (PMS), and coordinating room changes.
- Concierge Services: Provide local recommendations, assist with transportation arrangements, and fulfill special guest requests to enhance their stay.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate daily logs, cash handling reports, and incident reports in strict adherence to company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day shift team to hand over guest details and ensure continuity of service.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in front desk operations, hospitality, or customer service roles.
- Schedule: Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Oracle Opera or similar software.
- Problem Solving: Strong ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve guest issues efficiently.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; prior hospitality training is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight (up to 25 lbs).
