You will manage the flow of the lobby, ensure security, and provide a seamless transition for guests arriving late or checking out early. Responsibilities
- Execute check-in and check-out procedures with precision using the hotel Property Management System (PMS).
- Act as the primary point of contact for guests during the night shift, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Monitor hotel security systems, lobby areas, and parking facilities to ensure a safe environment.
- Perform night audit duties, including balancing daily revenue, posting charges, and preparing management reports.
- Manage incoming phone calls and messages, routing them appropriately to ensure timely guest response.
- Maintain the professional appearance of the front desk area and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Report maintenance deficiencies and safety hazards to the engineering and security departments immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a front desk or guest services role is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision during night shifts.
- Professional appearance, hygiene, and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and rotating night shifts.
