Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently using the Property Management System (PMS).
- Manage the front desk phone lines and respond to incoming inquiries with professionalism.
- Monitor security cameras and access points to ensure the safety of the property and guests.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and verify identity for late arrivals.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests and maintenance issues promptly.
- Process wake-up calls, mail services, and faxes accurately.
- Perform nightly end-of-shift reporting and cash balancing.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous front desk or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with PMS software (e.g., Opera, StayNTouch).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate amounts of weight.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
