Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage guest check-in/check-out processes using PMS systems
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and anticipate needs proactively
- Process payments, manage reservations, and maintain accurate guest records
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for seamless operations
- Upsell hotel amenities and local experiences to enhance guest satisfaction
- Conduct safety inspections and emergency response drills
- Maintain a pristine, welcoming lobby environment at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification preferred
- 1+ years hotel or high-end customer service experience
- Proficiency in Opera, Fidelio, or similar PMS software
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid Texas Food Handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of Austin attractions and transportation options
