Responsibilities
- Check guests in and out efficiently, processing payments and issuing room keys.
- Perform night audit duties, including balancing the house bank and preparing daily financial reports.
- Maintain a secure environment by monitoring security cameras and conducting rounds of the property.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests via phone, email, or in-person during evening hours.
- Ensure common areas, such as the lobby, hallways, and public restrooms, are pristine and well-stocked.
- Assist in emergency procedures and coordinate effectively with the front desk management team.
- Handle all incoming reservations and update guest profiles accurately in the PMS.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in hospitality is a plus.
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel operations, or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS) is a significant advantage.
