Responsibilities
- Manage daily front desk operations during assigned shifts including check-in/check-out processes
- Oversee housekeeping staff and ensure room standards meet brand specifications
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and VIP requests with exceptional service
- Coordinate with maintenance, security, and F&B departments for seamless operations
- Train new staff on hotel systems and service protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and submit supply requisitions
- Implement emergency procedures during critical situations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years hotel or hospitality management experience
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong conflict resolution and customer service skills
- Proficient in hotel management software (Opera, Cloudbeds)
- Valid Michigan driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of hotel safety and sanitation protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required
