Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 guest assistance at the front desk, including check-ins, check-outs, and concierge services
- Monitor hotel security and respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure seamless overnight operations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints with exceptional service standards
- Manage reservation systems and process payments accurately
- Conduct nightly audits and prepare detailed shift reports
- Maintain strict confidentiality of guest information and hotel data
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or hospitality experience required
- Ability to work flexible overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficient in hotel management software (Opera, etc.)
- Valid Illinois hospitality license (if applicable)
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Basic knowledge of Chicago landmarks and attractions
