Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Manage all night shift operations, including front desk, security, and housekeeping to ensure seamless service 24/7.
- Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests personally or via the night concierge to ensure 5-star service.
- Staff Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate the night staff (front desk agents, security personnel, and night auditors).
- Security Management: Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and property.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage night consumables, check-out inventory, and report shortages to the day manager.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed shift reports, including daily activity logs and any incidents or maintenance issues.
- Emergency Response: Act as the primary point of contact for emergencies during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in a luxury hotel or night shift supervision role.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, courteous demeanor.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead a diverse team and handle high-pressure situations calmly.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hotel PMS (Property Management Systems) and standard office software.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Hospitality or Business preferred.
- Security Knowledge: Basic knowledge of hotel security protocols and emergency procedures.
