Responsibilities
- Oversee all front desk operations during the night shift, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries.
- Perform daily night audit procedures, including posting charges, balancing financial reports, and reconciling credit card transactions.
- Ensure the security of the property, monitoring surveillance systems and conducting routine rounds of guest rooms and common areas.
- Manage emergency situations calmly and effectively, following established safety protocols.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor for any late-night guests, resolving issues with empathy and efficiency.
- Coordinate with day shift staff to ensure a smooth handover of operations and guest requests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in hospitality or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and data entry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software (e.g., Opera, FrontDesk).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night hours.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, holidays, and weekends.
