Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries
- Monitor security systems and respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams for optimal service delivery
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Perform nightly audits of cash registers and financial documentation
- Maintain detailed logs of all incidents and operational activities
- Prepare the hotel for daytime operations through systematic closing procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or hospitality experience, preferably in night shift roles
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency in hotel management software (e.g., Opera, Delphi)
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
