Responsibilities
- Manage the front desk operations during night shift hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and key card management.
- Perform night audits, including posting charges and credits, balancing daily financial reports, and reconciling the house bank.
- Monitor hotel security systems and conduct nightly rounds to ensure the safety and security of guests and property.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly via phone, email, or in-person to ensure a comfortable stay.
- Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to address any urgent guest needs or maintenance issues that arise overnight.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and lobby during your shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required; hospitality or customer service experience is preferred.
- Previous experience working a night shift or as a Night Auditor is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions and data entry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional telephone manner.
- Proficiency in using hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a high level of customer service.
