Responsibilities
- Manage seamless guest check-ins/check-outs with personalized service
- Oversee hotel security protocols and emergency response procedures
- Perform nightly audits and reconcile financial transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams for operational excellence
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and local expertise
- Maintain pristine lobby and common areas during overnight hours
- Operate PMS systems and manage reservation modifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year hotel or hospitality experience preferred
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid California driver's license (if required for errands)
- Proficiency with Opera PMS or similar systems
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of Oakland attractions and transportation networks
