Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, suites, and common areas following brand standards
- Operate industrial-grade equipment (floor buffers, extractors) safely and efficiently
- Restock amenities, linens, and toiletries to ensure guest comfort
- Report maintenance issues and lost items promptly to management
- Adhere to OSHA protocols for chemical handling and waste disposal
- Coordinate with security team for guest room access during overnight hours
- Complete detailed room inspection checklists before guest arrival
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional housekeeping/hospitality experience required
- Ability to lift 30 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Valid Michigan work authorization and background clearance
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
- Basic knowledge of EPA-approved disinfection protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
