Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly, managing the check-in and check-out process efficiently.
- Answer incoming calls and emails promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Assist guests with directions, local recommendations, and special requests to enhance their stay.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby environment.
- Process payments accurately and handle minor cash and credit transactions.
- Address guest complaints or issues with empathy and escalate complex problems to the management team.
- Stay updated on hotel policies, amenities, and local events to provide accurate information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in hospitality, reception, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hotel management software is a plus.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- A professional appearance and a positive attitude are a must.
